🖤 In our recent gathering We Will Not Look Away: A Vigil for Grief, Kinship, & Refusal in the Face of Genocide, Dr. Shahd Abusalama @shahdabusalama offered a soul-piercing poem—a lament for Palestine that carried the weight of generations. A scholar, artist, and daughter of Jabalia Refugee Camp in Gaza, Shahd reminded us that there are no words vast enough to contain the grief, no verses that can fully mourn the depths of genocide.
